Welcome to the 6th Merlin's Diary podcast. You can access the Merlin's Diary Search Engine in both the UK (www.merlinsdiary.com) and the USA (www.us.merlinsdiary.com).

We've had some fantastic feedback on the Brandon Bays show, including from Brandon herself who loved doing the interview, finding that it took her to a very deep place. Of course that's the whole point with The Mystery Bar interview - we're really looking for the meaning behind the story. We've also had some raves about hearing the whole Merlin's Diary crew in the studio, with Techno Grandma getting her own fan club already! So you'll be pleased to hear the whole crew is back for the October podcast...

... which features a fascinating interview with Mel Carlile, the man who pulls together the biggest UK Mind Body Spirit event, the London Mind Body Spirit Festival that takes place every May. There's now even the Mind Body Spirit Winter Festival, such is the demand for inspirational
material, workshops and talks.

Now if you're thinking this interview is going to be all about selling the Festival to you, think again. This is an insight into the man himself - an opportunity to understand why Mel Carlile feels drawn into connecting thousands of people every year under the umbrella concept of creating a better world. Sure it's a business, and behind the business are some powerful spiritual drivers that result in a show that Mel describes as a ' five day party'!

The interview is conducted as ever by Merlin's Diary founder Barry Durdant-Hollamby and fellow author Neil del Strother.

Our chosen cause for the month is one that has a deep resonance with Anna, the wonderful group of young people known as the UK Youth Climate Coalition (UKYCC). They're an amazing team of committed young people from the ages of 18-29 who are trying to ensure that the climate policy makers start making decisions that are in the long-term interests of this planet, rather than action that is based on a short to mid-term view of self-interest. Their visions are
inspiring and creative, and they are empowering young people to take positive action and to become interested.

As ever we've got competitions running and there are ticket discounts available too - so make sure you are subscribed to our free newsletter (see link on right).

Welcome to the fi
rst Merlin's Diary podcast.
In each show we will bring you the latest news from Merlin's Diary, the UK's online Mind Body Spirit events search engine, as well as our main feature, The Mystery Bar interview.

This interview is co-hosted by Merlin's Diary founder, Barry Durdant-Hollamby and fellow author Neil del Strother.

Each month Merlin's Diary also champions a great cause - and this month we're throwing our energy behind The Alliance for Natural Health. The ANH has been doing great work over many years to help protect our freedom of choice to natural remedies and herbal supplements. Headed up Dr R
obert Verkerk, they work tirelessly and really need all the support they can get. So visit the website (click the banner below), get involved, tell your friends, spread the word.

Our first first guest on the show, which comes in two parts (see above) is one of the leading figures in the UK Mind Body Spirit sector - an amazing man who uses the written word, chinese herbs, bare feet and heavy grooves to create healing! Starring recently in London's West End in his own one man show, Live and Spontaneous, he is the one and only Barefoot Doctor.

And, thanks to Barefoot and Merlin's Diary, you can win a ticket to his workshop 'Push The Limits' in London on May 24th. Just make sure you are subscribed to the free Merlin's Diary newsletter and that you have checked the box against the competition you want to enter.
